Smithson Valley had won four straight games and Berkley Bates did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Rangers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Judson Rockets with plenty of help from Bates, who had ten digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Smithson Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Judson, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Smithson Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hutto on the 21st. As for Judson, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Ellison on the 21st.
