Ramah not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Newcomb Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The Mustangs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Skyhawks, so the Mustangs were just returning the favor.

While Ramah won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

Ramah's victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Newcomb, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ramah has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Navajo Pine on the 26th. As for Newcomb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Pine Hill on the 26th.
