Softball Recap: Mukwonago Takes a Loss

Mukwonago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Waukesha North Northstars. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Northstars earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Jordan Chatham was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Sturino, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Mukwonago now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Waukesha North, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 4-17 record.

Coming up, Mukwonago will face off against Indian Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Waukesha North, they will take on Muskego at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
