Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southside Christian). They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Carolina Academy Trojans on Thursday. Ava Brown was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

With the win, Southside Christian broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8. As for Carolina Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-8.

Southside Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
