Soccer Game Preview: University vs. Marin Academy

The University Red Devils will take on the Marin Academy Wildcats at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Marin Academy better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when University really get things going. University never let Stuart Hall onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. Devo Johnson had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Marin Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Urban on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. That two goal margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Marin Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7-3 record this season. As for University, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4-3.
