Centennial is 8-2 against Shelby-Rising City since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Centennial Broncos will square off against the Shelby-Rising City Huskies at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Centennial turned things around against Raymond Central on Saturday. They skirted past the Mustangs 39-36. The 39-point effort marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

It was another big night for Devin Slawnyk, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Richters, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, Shelby-Rising City didn't have too much trouble with Meridian on Saturday as they won 61-46. The Huskies pushed the score to 49-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Centennial's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Shelby-Rising City, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Centennial took their victory against Shelby-Rising City in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 48-27. Will Centennial repeat their success, or does Shelby-Rising City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
