Softball Recap: Dale County Warriors vs. Geneva Panthers
Dale County won the last time they faced Geneva and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dale County Warriors skirted past the Geneva Panthers 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Shayleigh Whitman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Leah Grace Snellgrove was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases.
Dale County's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Geneva, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Coming up, Dale County will host Rehobeth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Rehobeth has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Geneva, they are taking a road trip to square off against Long at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
