Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenwood). Their defense stepped up to hand the Pecos Eagles a 14-0 shutout on Friday. Give the Rangers' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine matchups. As for Pecos, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Greenwood will venture away from home to square off against Estacado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pecos, they will host Andrews at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
