Edison hadn't done well against Madera recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-11 win over the Coyotes. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Anthony Cobian was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Joseph Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Madera, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6-1.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against Madera South on the 9th. As for Madera, they will head out on the road to challenge Justin Garza at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
