Softball Recap: Tyngsborough Tigers vs. Beverly Panthers
It was a proper cat-fight when Tyngsborough duked it out with Beverly on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 6-1. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Kiley Hogan made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Devyn Amico was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Arsenault, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
