Basketball Game Preview: Midview Middies vs. Berea-Midpark Titans

Midview and Berea-Midpark are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Midview Middies will venture away from home to square off against the Berea-Midpark Titans at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Midview came up short against Bay and fell 55-42. The Middies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Berea-Midpark waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 win over the Demons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since January 20, 2024.

Berea-Midpark is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Midview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Midview took a serious blow against Berea-Midpark when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 64-26. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Midview was down 36-12.
