Baseball Game Preview: Quinton Savages vs. Buffalo Valley Buffaloes

The Quinton Savages are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Quinton is leaving town to face Buffalo Valley after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Quinton lost 14-6 to Webbers Falls on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Quinton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kutter Gideon, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was Mikey Perez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Buffalo Valley never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Clayton on Monday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 10-5. The victory continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.
