Softball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Notre Dame Academy got themselves on the board against Boone County on Thursday, but Boone County never followed suit. They blew past the Rebels 10-0. The Pandas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by nine runs or more this season.

Notre Dame Academy pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Boone County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-24.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Academy will challenge Holmes at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.22 runs per game on average), something the Pandas will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Boone County, they will welcome Bishop Brossart at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
