Baseball Game Preview: Virginia High Bearcats vs. Carroll County Cavaliers

The Virginia High Bearcats will head out to take on the Carroll County Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Virginia High nor Tazewell made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Bearcats had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Carroll County entered their tilt with Patrick County on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Cougars.

Virginia High's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Carroll County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
