Soccer Recap: Orange's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

After flying high against Person last Thursday, Orange came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 7-0 to the Eastern Alamance Eagles on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for Orange seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Orange moved to 11-7 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Eastern Alamance, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-1-2 record this season.

Orange didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 win against Southern Nash on the 12th. As for Eastern Alamance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Lee County on the 12th.
