Volleyball Recap: Sexton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Everett on Thursday, Sexton came back down to earth. The Big Reds fell 2-0 to the Owosso Trojans on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Big Reds in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Sexton's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Owosso, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-18-2.

Sexton has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Portland on the 11th. As for Owosso, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Carson City-Crystal on the 11th.
