Kingstree piles up the points against Mullins

The Kingstree Blazers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mullins 67-30 on the road. With Kingstree ahead 37-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Kingstree's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JAIDEN MCKNIGHT, who dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and 11 blocks. MCKNIGHT is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was MAKAYLA DUKES, who dropped a double-double on 15 assists and ten steals.

Kingstree's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Mullins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingstree will take on Lee Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Mullins, they will head out on the road to take on Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
