Baseball Recap: Westlake Academy Wins Going Away Against Trinity Leadership

Westlake Academy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Trinity Leadership Tigers as the Westlake Academy Blacksmiths made off with an 8-1 victory.

The team relied heavily on Hudson Loader, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Charlie N, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

The win got Westlake Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Trinity Leadership, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Westlake Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nazarene Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th. As for Trinity Leadership, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Ovilla Christian on the 25th.
