After both having extra time off, the Camden Bulldogs and the Dreher Blue Devils will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
A.C. Flora hit Camden with a five-run seventh inning last Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 9-3 to the Falcons.

Maddie Stokes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Camden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audri Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Dreher came out on top against Richland Northeast last Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Cavaliers. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won four matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Rory McCormack was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). McCormack was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Dreher let Anna Coates and Kendall Gipson run wild. Coates went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Gipson went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Elle Lockard, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
Dreher hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.
Dreher's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Camden, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Camden took their victory against Dreher in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
