Recap: Temple Christian Academy vs. Seacoast Christian Academy
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for the Seacoast Christian Academy Eagles. They were totally in charge on Friday, breezing past Temple Christian Academy 75-35 on the road. With Seacoast ahead 51-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.
The Eagles' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but junior Tyler Banker led the charge as he had 18 points. That's the most points Banker has had all year. junior Davion Fitzgerald was another key contributor, picking up 16 points.
The win makes it two in a row for the Eagles and bumps their record up to 12-7. Temple is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Seacoast will take on Trinity Christian Academy next week. Seacoast is the favorite in this one, with an expected 7-point margin of victory. As for Temple, they will go up against Christ's Church Academy in two weeks. Temple won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
