Recap: All S Saints vs. Prestonwood Christian Lions
If the All S Saints were feeling good off their 57-27 takedown of the Lake Worth Bullfrogs on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. All S fell 49-37 to Prestonwood Christian on Saturday. While losing is never fun, All S can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 852nd, while Prestonwood Christian is ranked 105th).
Prestonwood Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allie Swindell led the charge by scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Swindell's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Londyn Oliphant, who scored 11 points along with six assists and five steals.
All S's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Prestonwood Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
