Softball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Socorro

Rehoboth Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Socorro, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lynx blew past the Warriors 21-4 on Saturday. The Lynx's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rehoboth Christian let Kayelynn Spencer and Sage West run wild. Spencer scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while West went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and four RBI. That's the most runs Spencer has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominique Delariva, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Rehoboth Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .829. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rehoboth Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Socorro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
