Baseball Recap: T.L. Hanna Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

There's no place like home for T.L. Hanna, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Woodmont Wildcats on Friday by a score of 6-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Reece Oakley looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, T.L. Hanna let Phifer Glenn and Will Craddock run wild. Glenn went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Craddock went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

T.L. Hanna pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Woodmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. T.L. Hanna will square off against J.L. Mann at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodmont, they will challenge Travelers Rest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
