The matchup between The New School and Atlanta Jewish Academy  on Thursday hardly resembled the  1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The New School had to suffer through a   74-43 loss at the hands of the Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar. One positive for The New School, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
This is the second loss in a row for The New School and  nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The New School will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Academe of the Oaks at 4:30  p.m.  on January 15, 2025. Atlanta Jewish Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next  contest: they'll face off against Heritage Preparatory at 7:30  p.m.  on January 7, 2025. Atlanta Jewish Academy knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Heritage Preparatory likes a good challenge.
