Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nancy Galvan and Ashlen Sloan Lead Mumford to Victory

Mumford entered their tilt with Crockett on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Mumford was led to victory by Ashlen Sloan and Nancy Galvan. Sloan had 17 assists, while Galvan had six digs and two aces. Sloan is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Mumford's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Crockett, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Mumford is on the road again on Thursday to play Founders Christian at 3:00 p.m. As for Crockett, they will head out to square off against Groveton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
