Volleyball Recap: Anna-Jonesboro Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Anna-Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Nashville Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

While Anna-Jonesboro had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18.

Nashville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anessa Boldrey out in front who had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave Boldrey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Rhine, who had five digs and two aces.

Anna-Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Nashville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Anna-Jonesboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Carbondale on the 6th. As for Nashville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Frankfort on the 7th.
