Basketball Game Preview: West Catholic Falcons vs. Thornapple Kellogg Trojans

The West Catholic Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

West Catholic took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Union with a sharp 66-42 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Falcons have posted since January 11th.

Meanwhile, Thornapple Kellogg hadn't done well against Wyoming recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Thornapple Kellogg came out on top against Wyoming by a score of 60-50.

West Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Thornapple Kellogg, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

West Catholic couldn't quite finish off Thornapple Kellogg in their previous meeting back in January and fell 49-47. Can West Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
