Baseball Recap: Evansville Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Evansville Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell 7-2 to the Castle Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Evansville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Castle, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Looking ahead, Evansville Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Southridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Castle, they are taking a road trip to challenge Forest Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
