A big part of La Serna's victory came down to the chemistry between Grady Long and his top target Landon Armenta. Long threw for 167 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Armenta picked up 124 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 124 receiving yards gave Armenta a new career-high.
