Football Game Preview: Real Life Christian Academy Raptors vs. First Academy Eagles

Two dominant signal callers in Caleb Burden and Henry Purvis are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Real Life Christian Academy Raptors will head out on the road to challenge the First Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Real Life Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Friday, Real Life Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Geneva Classical Academy as they won 48-32.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask First Academy). Everything went their way against St. John Lutheran on Friday as they made off with a 55-34 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Saints are ranked 496th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

First Academy's win came from a few key players Real Life Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rayce Teate, who picked up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending three passes. Luke Rutzebeck did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 58 receiving yards.

Real Life Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for First Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
