Softball Recap: South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] Drops Season-High Score on Flinthills

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven]). They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over the Flinthills Mustangs on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Ella Risley and Ella Perry did most of the damage at the plate: Risley went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Perry got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Emma Rohrbaugh was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
