Volleyball Recap: China Spring Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lorena, China Spring was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Gatesville Hornets. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

China Spring had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-17.

China Spring has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-14 record this season. As for Gatesville, their loss dropped their record down to 25-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. China Spring is set to square off against their familiar foe Connally at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gatesville will challenge rival La Vega at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
