Softball Recap: Rodriguez Takes a Loss

Rodriguez and Woodcreek squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Rodriguez had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Timberwolves. Considering the last time the Mustangs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Rodriguez's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Woodcreek, they pushed their record up to 22-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Rodriguez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodcreek, they will take on Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Timberwolves 2.7, the Flames 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
