Baseball Recap: Morristown Comes Up Short

Morristown managed to slip by South Decatur the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Yellow Jackets lost 18-10 to the Cougars on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Morristown has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for South Decatur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown will take on Waldron in a tournament on Saturday. As for South Decatur, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Ripley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
