The Mintz Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Antioch Christian Academy 49-17. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mintz Christian Academy in their matchups with the Gators: they've now lost six in a row.

Leading Antioch Christian Academy to victory were Jessa Oxendine and Hayden Larrimore. Oxendine scored 23 points along with four steals, while Larrimore dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larrimore has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jennings Barkley, who scored two points along with three steals.

Mintz Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Antioch Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
