Softball Recap: Sanger's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sanger walked away with it. They won by a run and slipped past the Panther Creek Panthers 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leala Kloewer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Dalilah Millan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Lily Wilson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Sanger's record now sits at 17-7-3. As for Panther Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

Sanger will square off against Ferris on Saturday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. Panther Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
