Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Apex's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Asheville School (Independent), Thales Academy Apex was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors 42-39. The win was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Thales Academy Apex's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Thales Academy Apex and Carolina Friends will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oak Forest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
