Soccer Recap: Archbishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Archbishop Carroll lost against St. Joseph's Prep back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots came up short against the Hawks, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Archbishop Carroll can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 486th, while St. Joseph's Prep are ranked 35th).

Archbishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Joseph's Prep, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will venture away from home to take on Father Judge at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Joseph's Prep, they will square off against William Penn Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
