Softball Recap: Seneca East Tigers vs. Colonel Crawford Eagles
Seneca East extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 4-8 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Colonel Crawford Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered against the Eagles since April 11, 2016.
Seneca East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macey Webb, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run. Ella Martin was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
As for Colonel Crawford, their win bumped their record up to 10-11. They haven't had any issues with Seneca East recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
