Football Recap: Brook Hill Find Success + How To Watch

Brook Hill won the last time they faced Carlisle and things went their way on Friday too. The Guard secured a 33-28 W over the Indians.

Carlisle's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antonio Ibarra, who threw for 215 yards and one TD on only 18 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Another back making a difference was Elvis Hernandez, who rushed for 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Brook Hill now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Carlisle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brook Hill will square off against Regents at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Guard's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Carlisle, they will take on Shelbyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
