Volleyball Recap: Nixa Has No Trouble Against Battle

The Nixa Eagles made easy work of the Battle Spartans on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

While Nixa won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-9, 25-17.

Nixa's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Battle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1.

Coming up, Nixa will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Battle, they will take on Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
