Football Recap: Buford Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bamberg-Ehrhardt + How To Watch

Buford had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 53-6 loss at the hands of the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Noah Crump threw for 212 yards and one touchdown. Cole Carnes was his top target, picking up 113 receiving yards.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buford will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Highland Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they will challenge Barnwell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
