Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Episcopal Titans vs. Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils

The Trinity Episcopal Titans will square off against the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Trinity Episcopal has six straight wins, Fork Union Military Academy has 17 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Trinity Episcopal made easy work of Life Christian Academy and carried off a 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Taegan Logan was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Cole Hartley was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Fork Union Military Academy played against Trinity Episcopal on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Trinity Episcopal pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Fork Union Military Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
