 The Forge Christian Fury's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight  loss. They fell just short of St. Mary's Academy by a score of  67-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Several Fury players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Finley Queen, who  scored 19 points along with seven  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Queen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Maxine Rossi, who  scored 14 points.
  Emily Rodriguez continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Mary's Academy,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 16 points and nine  rebounds. Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to  blocks, as she's  now  posted two or more in the last ten games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hazel Mills, who  scored eight points along with nine  assists and six  steals.
 Forge Christian's loss was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Mary's Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record  this season.
 Forge Christian will face off against Stargate School at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Stargate School comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the  team is of course eager to reverse. St. Mary's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
