Passers beware: Jamon Pelican came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He made one tackle and snagged two interceptions, helping propel Beaumont United past Bellaire by a score of 23-20. We hope Pelican's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Pelican and Beaumont United will head out on the road to face off against Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
