Basketball Recap: Galileo Lions vs. Washington Eagles
Galileo lost against Washington back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Galileo Lions fell 64-53 to the Washington Eagles. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Galileo's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kody Fort, who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Fort a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dean Belayadi, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Galileo will host The Academy - San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington, they will square off against Wallenberg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
