Crosspoint Christian is 8-2 against Northwest Yeshiva since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Crosspoint Christian Wildcats challenge the Northwest Yeshiva Lions at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Crosspoint Christian came up short against Northwest Christian and fell 49-42. The Wildcats have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Northwest Yeshiva unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak back in December of 2024. They were outmatched by Summit Classical Christian School and fell 66-32. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Evan Kaufthal and Jake Gledhill. Gledhill had a great game and went 8 of 19 en route to 24 points and five rebounds. Meanwhile, Kaufthal did his best for the losing side, going 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.

Northwest Yeshiva's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Crosspoint Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Crosspoint Christian came up short against Northwest Yeshiva when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 75-65. Can Crosspoint Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
