Volleyball Recap: Thunderridge Falls to Chatfield in First Game of Season + How To Watch

ThunderRidge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Chatfield Chargers on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chatfield scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.

Adelyn Zentner paced ThunderRidge's offense, picking up ten kills. Zentner got some help from Cambria Kelley and her 15 assists. Zentner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

ThunderRidge will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Chatfield and Rock Canyon will shake off the rust and duke it out on Friday.
