Eastbrook is 9-1 against Blackford since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bruins at 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday, Eastbrook didn't have quite enough to beat Monroe Central and fell 3-2. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Golden Bears 25-19 in the first set.
Eastbrook couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Monroe Central a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 26-24, 25-20, 29-31, 15-13.

Eastbrook's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Molly Yordy, who had nine digs, and Addie Rust, who had 23 digs and four aces. Rust is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Maddy Sheets also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Meanwhile, Blackford can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They blew past Anderson 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-12.
Blackford's win bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Eastbrook, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Eastbrook has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Blackford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
