Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 69-26 loss at the hands of the John Paul II Cardinals. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Legacy Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for John Paul II, their win bumped their record up to 13-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Ursuline Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. John Paul II will face off against Bishop Lynch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Paul II knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bishop Lynch likes a good challenge.
